Located just a half mile from downtown Breckenridge and two blocks from a shuttle stop to town and the slopes, Rapids Retreat is a great spot for your next mountain getaway. This lovely 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom deluxe home is the perfect retreat for families or groups of up to 10 people, with new hardwood flooring and furniture updates throughout. There’s a gas grill on the upper deck and a large private hot tub on the lower patio

The living room on the main level has an LCD TV and a wood burning fireplace to relax next to after a great day in the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you’ll need to whip up meals for your group. There is seating for eight people at the dining table, and the upper deck is right off the kitchen and living room. On the lower level you’ll find a pool table and a separate kitchenette/mini bar (fridge and sink).

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer and parking for two vehicles. Every Summit Mountain Rentals property comes stocked with plenty of linens, towels and hotel-like toiletries, and is professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. Our helpful staff is also available 24 hours a day to ensure you have everything you need to make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.

Property management was quick to respond and very helpful about questions and proactive communication. House was clean and organized and had amenities provided that lasted us through the entire trip. We liked the property. The carpet either needs cleaning or replaced, looks very worn. Same with couch in living room. Linens were good, kitchen well stocked. Parking was confusing. Curious as to why we could not park in the driveway. Overall, good stay and we had a wonderful time overlooking the River.

Beautiful, peaceful setting on the rapids. The house was perfect for our family. Easy walk to town. There were fun/scenic picnic areas and great hikes for all levels. there were many touristy options - bike rentals, escape room... we had a wonderful time just hanging, cooking, puzzling in the evening.

Great walkable spot on the river
This place is in a great location close to town if you don't mind walking a little bit. You can also walk through the woods which we enjoyed. It's also right on the Blue River with a spa in the backyard adjacent to the river which we really enjoyed. There are two separate living spaces which is good for kids and adults to have some space of their own if desired. The third floor being a loft lacks a little privacy but is a nice space. Only downside is that there is some deferred maintenance and/or worn out things that could be fixed or replaced. Generally it did not significantly deter from our enjoyment of the property.

We were in Breckenridge for my son's wedding in June 2023. The house in general was clean and did the trick for the 6 of us. The listing said 3.5 baths, and there are only three bathrooms. We did have difficulty with the TV remote missing and the garage door lock, but the management was very quick to respond to my texts and followed through with the work in a prompt fashion. The 3 baths had been updated, but the rest of the house was outdated but adequate. Steps leading down from the road to the house were dangerous, and the driveway was a very steep walk. Winter walking would be treacherous! The house is in a good location and a short drive to all area activities. Really nice town with a lot to offer!

We enjoyed the location, hot tub was great and overall layout of the house for the size of our group (9) worked well and felt there was enough space for everyone to be comfortable. If you are coming in the winter the driveway and stairs down to the house are incredibly icy making entry difficult. A few pots & pans need to be replaced and the dishwasher didn’t work great.
