We didn’t turn on the hot tub in time to heat it up to use it. No heat in the back bedroom, which was okay but there’s no airflow. I would definitely recommend some air purifiers and/or fans. The place is super cute and we loved it. We were late getting in and it was really dark and hard to see getting in from the back. Very convenient and loved being able to take our little dog. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful getaway
I think the word that best summarizes our stay at THBA is "cozy." It's just the two of us and our dog so we don't need a lot of room. This place was near-perfect. The only criticism I can muster is the light bulbs weren't working on the ceiling fan, but I'd have preferred a floor lamp near the entry anyway. The kitchen was, of course, tiny, but very well-equipped. The bed was AMAZING! Lots of windows, lots of trees. Minimal traffic. The bathroom, again, tiny, was plenty spacious enough and the shower was wonderful. We didn't get to use the hot tub or the outdoor fireplace but those are nice touches for the so-inclined. This place is really a gem, tucked away on the side of the mountain. A couple with 1-2 (young) children could stay here quite comfortably, with the kids sleeping on the fold-out/futon sofa. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

Small but convenient to BRP
Tiny house but worked well for one person. I was mostly hiking so the proximity to the Blue Ridge Parkway was convenient. Wasn’t as clean as expected - smelled like dog, black dog hair embedded in sheets, shower drainage issues. But these can be easily addressed. Hot tub worked but has certainly seen better days and had some dirt in the bottom of it. I would still stay at this house again if I returned to the area.

Second time was just as Amazing
We atayed her before and this trip was just as awesome. House is super clean and pkenty of room. Hot tub worked great and was nice to sit in after a long day of turist attractions. Just be aware the price is not what it says online. My bill was twice what the internet lists per night, but definitely worth what i paid! We will definitely stay here again im sure. Maybe for our one year anniversary!

Cute and Cosy
This was a great little place to stay and we truly enjoyed our time there. We did bring the kids with us and we were comfortable for the most part but I would mostly recommend this for a couples retreat and not a family adventure. The couch bed is not a true pullout bed but rather more like a small futon bed. However my kids didn't complain and had enough room (they are pretty small). I loved the location as it was in perfect proximity to resturants and shopping. Would definitely go back again!

Tiny House Review
I booked this tiny house for my wife's NYE birthday, as well as a respite from her radiation treatments over the last year. We're facing another trying year in 2022, too, hence the getaway. Overall, we liked the house. Having rented with VRBO and ABnB all over the world, we know what to expect. The house was fairly tidy. Small, as advertised, which was kinda the appeal. Decorated well. The blackout blinds are awesome. Interwebs worked great. A few things we'd have loved to see, though, and they all surround conveniences. There are very few resources inside for guests. Examples - two trashbags for a small under-the-sink can and a week-long stay, which were super thin and ripped right away. No samples of body soaps or even coffee, etc. No hairdryer for guests. The liquid hand soap in the bathroom dispenser would barely even foam up when used (watered down?). For the amount we paid, I think these are kinda expected, or at least that has been our experiences elsewhere, and in Europe. FWIW, these samples, including two or three generic Kuerigs, would have cost, maybe, $5 in total to provide. Just a thought for future guests. Also, the pictures do not show just how close to the road or the neighbors you'll be, either. The photos you see are of the road, not a driveway. You are right behind a church and share the actual driveway with the folks next door. Prolly my fault in part because I absolutely should've looked for an aerial view and asked more detailed questions before booking. This would have allowed a more informed decision. Again, just feedback and info for future guests. We admittedly didn't leave a ton, so we didn't experience a whole lot of Boone. We also left an entire day early due to incoming weather. We did eat in town a few times and had good experiences. Carolina Pizza Company, Basils (their pasta!), Foggy Rock Eatery, Kovu's Coffee were all great. Small businesses ftw. Comms were by email entirely. When there was an alert put out by the water company for a main leak, the notice came via email. I had to check back later to see if there were any updates or a need to boil water. As small business owners and advocates, it's always the little things that keep folks coming back. Access was easy. Check-out was just as easy. We followed the directions to the letter and beat the snow home. Overall a good stay at a cute place.

Great getaway
The little cabin was so clean, quaint, and comfortable for my husband, infant, and our dog. It is about a 15 minute drive to town which was nice. The hot tub was great and easy to use. It doesn’t feel super private due to the surrounding houses and it sits right on the road, but that never really caused any issue as the neighborhood is quiet. Communication was outstanding!
