“Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. ”

“Great place to relax away from the centre and across from the beach, staff are nice and helpful, great location and I recommend going to the Arminian kebab shop and Dunes cafe for food and boss haircuts for a trim, there all a 5 minute walk away. Thanks for a pleasant stay 👍”

“Location is near the city centre it has a free car park check in was at the leisure centre desk was ok our room was up three stairs nice fairly new room with air conditioning and a fan because it seemed to be fairly warm with a sitting room with full kitchen table for 4. Folk 2tvs it has a swimming pool with spa good for checking out Lytham st Anne’s”

“We were welcomed with a smile, checked in shown our room. The room was compact but had everything we needed our own bathroom unlike many Blackpool guest houses, plenty of tea and coffee. Next time we come to Blackpool we will be trying to book this again Many thanks guys”

“We have stayed many times at this hotel and it has always been pleasant, very clean and cannot fault the staff, apart from one young man serving on the bar on Saturday night whom I asked for a Long Island ice tea, he said no the hot drinks machine is broke ? I said it’s a cocktail? And he replied abruptly I know but we’re not doing them ?apart from that it was lovely. ”

“Stunning old building with lots of character. The whole feel of the place was lovely. The staff were amazing - everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Our room was a great size (family room). We didn’t need the third bed though as the master bed was enormous and we all slept in there! We would certainly return. ”

“The St Ives is a really family friendly hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The kids entertainment was very good. If I had one critique it would be that the £9 charge for a kids meal is quite expensive for a two year old. Maybe under 5’s should eat for less? It didn’t spoil our break though. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. ”
