"The property overall and the room I stayed in were excellent. The staff and management were courteous, helpful, and very accommodating. Unfortunately, the pool was being serviced and only available on the last days of our stay. Ordinarily, this would not be an issue, but with an active 9-year old looking forward to a daily swim, this made our stay just a bit more challenging."
"This is a fantastic hotel and a great area restaurants all around staff was super friendly. they also have a parking garage literally right next to the hotel"
"The hotel is highly recommended; I had a very spacious room on the top floor, a true suite. All the services are wonderful. You get a ticket for a complimentary drink at the bar, the restaurant has a pleasant menu, and breakfast is varied with options like eggs prepared in different ways on the spot. The reception staff is wonderful, especially the lady who speaks Spanish. The area is very residential and quiet. I am very happy and grateful."

"Staff was very kind and professional. Very clean room and common areas. Great location, nearly soundproof. Comfortable beds. I just wish that breakfast was included, the pool available to hotel guests, and that the prices in the on-site shop were more reasonable. We charged 1 regular sized bottle of Gatorade to the room. Price plus tax made it over $8.00!"

"The frontdesk service as well as the waiter are all friendly which give you a really good mood. The room is cozy but everything’s prepared and it’s comfortable for solo trip. Although the sound-proof in my room is not that good. When your neighbors are opening their doors you can hear that, and also the sound of the air conditioner."
A verified traveler stayed at Motto by Hilton Washington DC City Center
"The room was spacious and comfortable. Slept like a baby after working all day just down the street. The front desk was more than happy to help us obtain taxi pickups and help any other time we needed something small. Would definitely return."
"We returned after many years to this historic property to find it had aged well. Staff are polite and competent. Rooms are large and walls are thick. We had a nice view of Rock Creek Park. On Connecticut Avenue, steps from the hotel, there are a number of excellent restaurants, a CVS, and a good liquor store."
