After trying both restaurants, we avoided them except for simple breakfast. Ground transportation was a very expensive problem. The resort arranged taxis (nothing else) but essentially dumped the problem on guests. "

"Had the best time at Pompano Beach club! The staff are absolutely incredible, so friendly and welcoming. We did the dining plan it mad the whole experience more enjoyable and easy. Loved the heated pool, the beautiful beach, the views! The hotel is a bit dated but we didn’t care one bit. A truly authentic experience in Bermuda. Can’t wait to go back! "

"Book it right now. The yard is unreal, 270 degree water views, your own beach basically, take the kayak out the little islands during low tide.. you can pull up on a deserted beach and walk in the ocean. Great host. Did fire pit every night. Can walk to woodys (so much fun) and the restaurants at Cambridge resort, we also walked to the market, to a local gym, wine store, didn’t even use the bus. I couldn’t complain about any minor thing if there were any, with a view like that.. spectacular"

"Lorna and her family are beautiful people. The Gemstones Property is high on a hill overlooking the most beautiful beach (Cross Bay) During our stay we basically had the beach to ourselves. The walk to beach from Gemstones is fairly steep but there are two other routes. It’s not an issue to sway a decision to stay here. We stayed 10 days and our taxi driver Belinda who is a beautiful person stopped in route to gemstone from airport at supermarket so we could buy food, beer and wine etc. We...
