We absolutely loved the vibe of the hotel. The staff was nice and fire pit area was fun so we met some nice people. The room was nicely decorate and clean. The bed was comfortable! The location was very convenient to hiking and restaurants. The only concern I had was the homeless people who camp out just one block away. My husband saw them going through the garage after the fire pit was turned off and everyone went to their rooms but they did not bother anyone.

This place gives off the impression that a rebrand and coat of paint is about what’s been put into updating it. It’s the little details that were missed like our light bulb going out, the batteries in the remote being dead, and having no body wash in the container. The ambiance of the outdoor area is great and there’s a very fun vibe going on but the details were missed. Additionally, the parking situation was horrible. Not even close to enough parking to accommodate all of the guests which normally wouldn’t be a big deal if street parking was safe but the homeless encampment behind the hotel gave the impression that there was a 50/50 chance of your car being broken into. This truly is a dog friendly hotel with a very reasonable pet fee and pet goodie bags, this was a really nice touch. I think that if the price reflected some of the issues it would easily be a 5 star review but the price was too high for the many problems that came up.

I did not have time to explore the neighborhood offerings. Good coffee in the lobby. Several communal areas tha could be used for informal gathering outside. Cute western decor. Very reasonable pricing. Staff in office friendly and helpful.

The branding of the property was very good, it was really aesthetic and the amenities were fun and family friendly. The quality of the rooms didn’t quite match the amenities, things looked hastily painted, there weren’t many areas to hang wet towels/clothing, and very limited parking. The surrounding area was surprisingly seedy, many unhoused individuals lined the street directly behind the hotel making it feel a little dangerous to park & walk around. I know this is not something the hotel can control, but it would’ve been something I factored in before staying.
