Additionally, the hotel's location is convenient for those wanting to explore nearby cities, being less than a two-hour drive from both Baton Rouge and New Orleans. This makes The Inn a great base for day trips to these vibrant cities. "We stayed in the building close to the pool area and it was very convenient. Parking was easy and mostly close by. There is a nice area to get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You’re able to order by the pool and have it delivered to you. There is a snack shop that also serves adult beverages. There is a small arcade for the kids. The whole place seemed very safe especially by the pool area. Our kids were able to go around on their own because you can see around the entire area. There is also plenty of staff around the pool area and someone watching the gate 24/7. Our items stayed by the chairs and no one fooled with them. The lazy river was the perfect area to relax. There is a swim up bar where you can get alcohol beverages or nonalcoholic. You can also charge everything to your room, if you choose not to carry money/cards on you. "
