Clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food from bar resturant was goid and enjoyed a band while eating the first night the 2nd night they had a bigger named band from the area and used the ballroom. That was a lot of fun also. But a huge shout out to all the staff at the front desk and bar restaurant. You all was awesome!!

It was a nice place but the hole reason I booked it was for the hot tub but it has been down for a few weeks. And the onsite restaurants and bar closed at 8 pm to wasn't able to get food or drinks like advertised. But other than that it was nice and quiet. Breakfast wasn't wasn't good only had granola bar or a muffin they had cereal but no milk so I wouldn't plan on the Continental breakfast.

One night and won't go back.
The building exterior needs to be updated. The front desk person when we checked in seemed disinterested in helping us. The front desk person at checkout was much better. The breakfast was really poor with few choices and no fresh fruit.

I’ve been coming to this place for years for kids birthdays, haven’t been there in years. First impression is the customer service was terrible beings I’m in the customer service industry. Receptionist made us feel like we were a bother to her. They don’t have pool towels, their free breakfast consists of cereal and muffins. They advertise a snack bar but they don’t really have one so you better take your own drinks, snacks and towels. Out of the three rooms we booked only one had a fridge.

I really liked the room, which was high ceilinged with real wood furniture and a great view of the lakes and pool. I did not like that the motor in the hot tub was broken, so no jets.

Wonderful hotel, wonderful price
A wonderful charming older hotel with so many rooms it boggles your mind! Would highly recommend for a party/gathering/wedding as the grounds and interior architecture are gorgeous. Will definitely be back!

This is a very unique place. It looks like it was once a very high-class resort with very well-designed rooms. Quality!! It is somewhat dated, but still very stunning in design. It seems to be being kept in as good a condition as they are able to be doing. It is great for wedding receptions and more. One was being hosted when I arrived. Beautiful architecture throughout the structure. Cost was very appropriate for the place. Don't miss this one while you are in the area!

The building and its surroundings are nicer than the rooms, but other than the very sparse breakfast there is nothing to complain about. Since I am not a breakfast person anyway, I would go there again

It was a wonderful stay, pool and hot tub were well maintained. The room was beautiful and comfortable and clean. The views of the golf course and surrounding areas were great. And awesome people working there!

This is an established golf/event resort that has fallen upon a rough time and has recently gone under an ownership change. Our room was recently repainted/refreshed and was comfortable save for one thing - no microwave! Yes, they have a nice restaurant on site, but, really? We stayed two nights, and it really does come in handy... A few things about the building/property. Parking lot needs some work. Door #2 needs to be replaced ASAP. My wife was a little put off by the corner of the door. Otherwise nice overall. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Brunch begins at 11... Brand new offering, but smells at 930 were wonderful!

We had a great stay for a little family event. In our first room the window was broken, but with a quick call down to the front desk they had us in a new room in less than 5 minutes from when we called. This will always be our go to place to stay in Bay City.

Our room had no pillows on either bed upon arrival. And the toilet was not clean. I requested clean pillows from the front desk. The front desk person was the only person on staff. He did his best to search the hotel for pillows upon my request, however, he could not find any available in the entire hotel. I asked if he had access to spare blankets that we could role up and use in place of pillows. He said that hotel management does not give him access to the storage areas where they keep the supplies for the maid services. I can't believe management provides only one staff member to cover the hotel in the evening and doesn't even give them access to pillows and blankets (i.e. resources to meet the customers needs). Very poor customer service and overall operation.

The facility is very old. The chairs surrounding the outdoor pool were broken. The key entry required us to visit the main office every time we needed entry into our room. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. The blow dryer in the bathroom did not work.
