"Hotel is situated away from main road and is quiet. Bed mattress was comfortable but sofa chair was unsightly and needed a shampoo badly. Staff was friendly and efficient, aircon was leaking but technician came and rectify immediately. Free shuttle to shopping mall was only at 4pm (could have been more regular). Overall, stay was comfortable."

"Stayed at new wing of Batam City Hotel. Walking distance to most of the eateries I wanted to go to. Most importantly, it is just next to the massage parlour I enjoyed going to. BCS is just aright across the road after passing thru' a short lane. Of course if you are looking for a resort and beach experience, this is not the place."
