Our recent stay at Casa Lit Barcelona by Ona was unfortunately way far from satisfactory. Despite the hotel's advantageous location, several critical issues made our stay extremely uncomfortable. Upon arrival, it was clear that Casa Lit was more akin to a lodge than a hotel. The room layout was unusual, with the washroom on one side and the shower on the other, and separated only by a curtain. This design flaw caused the room to become damp and warm every time we took a shower. The troubles began immediately as we entered our room, which was unbearably hot. We found the AC non-operational. The concierge assured us that the AC was functional. a couple of hours into our stay, we were informed of a leak and had to switch rooms. The new room was also hot, and again, the AC failed to cool the room. Despite informing the concierge the next day, no action was taken, resulting in two sleepless nights. By the third morning, we were told to email the property manager, but not to expect anything soon since they were not available during long weekend. The untrained concierge staff exacerbated the situation. They lacked the basic skills necessary to handle guest complaints and manage the situation properly. Ultimately, we had to find another hotel, losing a day of our trip. The lack of basic amenities, poor customer service, and the overall experience were abysmal. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Barcelona.

Good size of room and very clean. Looks modern and well maintained. Very close to one of the main areas of Barcelona so very easy to get around. Only minor issues - the layout of the room was a little odd, toilet on one side and sink/shower on the other side. The sink/shower was on the side with the window which for some part only had a net curtain so didn’t feel that covered. Also most of the TV channels didn’t work, I mentioned this a couple of times and each time they said they would send someone to look at this but it was never fixed

It’s not a place for a couple with a child. I suspect it will be ok for couples.sketchy area around Ramblas, but the inside is very clean. Room so small that carry one barely fit. No closet, drawers or space to put stuff. Bed was comfortable, sofa bed not so much. We arrived 1 hour before check in time, room was ready but had to pay 15eutos to Accra it 1 hour in advance.

Hotel was modern, clean and all staff very helpful in their roles. Good selection at breakfast, Wi-Fi good. Short walk from Les Rambles and harbour. Hotel location in run down alley- at times full of homeless people. Did not like the open layout of hotel room. Curtain/separating shower area from bed area? Shower next to window, some of window opaque or with shear curtain - but personally for me this is not enough privacy. Windows looked out on to residential area balconies and I could clearly see movement on balconies and apartments through the curtains so they could possibly see me existing shower? I made sure not to shower at night with light on. Thankfully there was a separate room for toilet. My shuttle voucher had the hotel name “Acta Mimic”. So a good 45 mins wasted looking for hotel of this name- walking up and down this street full of strange characters! With all this technology available, surely someone could have put the new correct name- “Casa Lit” on the voucher?? What a palaver….
