We had to remind them that we had the $15 per night food credit for being an Expedia VIP. They did not offer it up at check in until we asked them about it. Also housekeeping did not clean the room properly as they left all of the dirty glasses and cups and did not replace them. We also had 4 people staying in the room and they only left 3 towels and not enough shower gel. When we asked for more towels, front desk were stingy and said we could only get 2 extra towels. Also when we went to The Keg to get seated nobody came to acknowledge us waiting to be seated for over 10 minutes. Overall just an average experience.

Gus, Hari and all the front desk staff are fabulous. The Red Earth Spa is located in the building and the hot pool is wonderful. Sylvie and Victoria in the spa gave us wonderful a massage and body wrap and manipedi. Hotel is an easy walk to downtown and the Roam bus stops next to the hotel. The Keg also inside the hotel for convenient dining. Would definitely stay here again

My friends and I wanted to have a nice mini girls weekend, and we were very disappointed with the customer service we experienced at the hotel. The lack in follow up when we had a issue due to misinformation posted on there Expedia account, and getting told different information from each employee, or getting handed a voucher for free drinks at the Keg but only valid during happy hour. Which we received the voucher after happy hour was over and were unable to use it the next day. As we checked out at 11am which the employee who assisted us was aware… Due to the lack of customer service from the staff at the hotel. It did put a dark cloud over our mini girls. I HIGHLY recommend not to book at this hotel. ** ps the hot tub was dirty. We found 3 bandages… so cleanliness was also not a priority, up with good customer service **

Property is clean and nice, price is right. It’s a 10 min walk from downtown so not bad, lots of restaurants in the area. Rooms are a bit too small, we got the 2 queen bed for my 3 kids and me and felt there was not enough space. They don’t really have a pool, it’s a big hot tub but my kids like it even though it was very crowded. Staff was very nice and helpful, if we stay there again we’ll get a bigger room for sure!

First of all, I chose this hotel because of the VIP benefit. But I didnt get anything at all. No food or drink as extras. No free breakfast. Parking is complimentary anyway for all guests so that doesn't count. We have to wait for a few minutes for our room which is okay. They have to ask housekeeping how long it will take for our room to be ready and they said 10 minutes. I really felt like it was rushed. I dont find the beddings completely clean especially the fitted sheet. 11am is the checkout and we asked for a late checkout and have to fight for the 30 minutes extra. They eventually said yes. But a staff was already knocking in our door about checking out 10 min after 11am. We told him front desk knows we are checking out at 11:30 I have kids and a dog so I asked if a cart can be brought to our room. They said they dont do that and have to get it ourselves. Again, no VIP experience here at all. We are frequest travellers to Banff because we live in Calgary but I wont be back in this location unfortunately. I do suggest Expedia to take them out of the VIP list. A few things to note in this hotel: there is no air conditioning. This will be a deal breaker if you go during the summer as the rooms can get very hand. They have some electric fans that can be requested. The rooms are also very small but very spacious washroom. The hot tub at the basement is big and can fit a lot of people. Overall, due to our experience, we wont be staying in this hotel anymore.
