"The people who worked at Puerta Cortes were very nice. There were A LOT of flies outdoors in every restaurant and no one told us that the beaches aren't used by locals because of the stingrays in the shallow waters.... despite that - we thought it was an amazingly beautiful area. There was an issue with a late pickup on the return trip to the airport but it all worked out ok in the end."

"40th birthday party for my boyfriend with all of our closest friends. The home was absolutely beautiful, very open and spacious for everyone. The indoor outdoor living was perfect for us. "This place exceeded all my hopes - beautifully set up with wonderful gardens, pool, hot tub and direct access to the beach. There was everything we needed and more - washer dryer, two bathrooms for fussy teens, ac, a perfect kitchen and extremely comfy beds. Gina and crew made us feel so welcome, and we loved Los Barriles itself. This was a terrific introduction to a part of Mexico we’ve not been in before, but will definitely return to!"

"This was a great place for partying adults. We brought our 6 year old grandson with us and wished we knew beforehand that the pool didn’t have a shallow end. It also needed a few more things like coffee cups, steak knives and garbage bags to be practical for a family. Overall it was a very nice home."

"We absolutely loved everything about this property. I still miss having my morning cup of coffee poolside. The house had everything we needed, the house itself was gorgeous, the beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked great & the pool area was beautiful. The concierge was always helpful when we had a question. We spent a good bit of time at the pool, in the gym & playing on the pickleball courts at Palmilla Dunes. "This property is absolutely gorgeous! It is super private with a private pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and patio. The upstairs patio is a great place to watch the sunrise! I did my morning yoga there and it was so peaceful. The kitchen was stocked well, lots of games/cards, and also BT speakers for use which was great! The nearby town of Los Barriles has everything you need to relax be it grocery, restaurants, rentals, medical, etc. Will 100% be back!"

"A group of friends and couples stayed at Villa Maria and we had a wonderful time. Marilu was a terrific host and was extremely responsive for the duration of our stay. The house was incredible -- note that the pictures online do not do it justice; it was truly the best looking house on the block. The house is close to downtown and also has terrific views of the pacific ocean and sunsets. 5/5 stars is not enough!"

"The casa was perfect and simple for our girls trip! The location couldn't get any better, no issues with walking or taking ubers to the marina and surrounding areas. "This home is well appointed and has everything you need to have an enjoyable vacation. The dishwasher works. The BBQ works and the washer and dryer work…contrary to earlier guest comments.
