The room itself was clean and I liked there was not any carpeting in the room. It was small, but I expected this and had good water pressure. The location was good and pretty centrally located to where I wanted to go. Lots of nearby food options. Downtown area was clean and I felt safe for the most part, but I didn’t realize how many mentally unstable people were around. One in particular would hand out near the entrance of the hotel and did not cause a problem until one day my coffee order written on my cup seemed to upset him. As I say on the bench in front of the hotel he continued to harass me with his words then began to throw his ice at me.

The building is nice. Small bedrooms but convenient. There was a bad food smell coming from the AC during the night. Parking around downtown Austin is just very expensive.
