Choose one of the top places to stay in Augusta at our private river escape. Come on down by the Savannah River and rest a spell 😎....you won’t be sorry. Our home is nestled in a quiet oasis in downtown Augusta. Enjoy stunning sunsets from our relaxing sunroom perched high above the Savannah River of Augusta. Guests tell us we have the best view of the river in town.

Enjoy mornings by walking, jogging or biking along our beautiful scenic Savannah Canal trail (about 150’ from our home) with many paths to enjoy over 5 miles of beauty. Or take a stroll the other direction along the Riverwalk downtown in one of the quaintest parts of Augusta.

Sit a spell on our outdoor deck to relax and catch up with family/friends. Perfect river view with table and chairs to dine outdoors or take a long deserved nap.

Many travelers need to work/play. We provide a loft office you can use when you need to and enjoy a great view from your desk. High speed wifi will help you work quickly and you can print any documents with our wifi printer.

Our kitchen is fully equipped to prepare family meals. Make an espresso with our nespresso machine. Grill on our outdoor gas BBQ. Enjoy our remodeled kitchen with new gas stove. Bake cookies in our confection oven. We have a fully equipped kitchen if you like to bake/cook. Or you can order out from one of the many great restaurants on Broad Street very close by (we have menus).

End your evenings sipping drinks or enjoying a coffee at our gazebo down at waters edge and watch the turtles sunbathe, the cranes fly or the boaters float by and soak in refreshment as the river relaxes you here at waters edge. Spring weather is mild and beautiful views surround you from every level of our home.

Sleeps up to 8 so bring the aunt and uncle or the grandparents with you . Come spend awhile and be our guest for a fun family escape with a dynamite view. We have 4 levels to spread out and get some quiet time too. Games, toys and books for the kiddos to explore.

Walking distance to downtown restaurants, bars nightlife and antique shops or the new SRP Ballpark for the family (tickets online for games or concerts).

If you want to exercise, you can walk our beautiful trails or your welcome to exercise in our home GYM on the bottom floor with a weight machine, recumbent bike and a treadmill.

Because of recent events, NO PARTIES are allowed on our property. Water sports are not permitted due to the fact that VRBO insurance does not cover those activities from our property. This is a tri-level home with lots of stairs.

Homey and spacious
This is a very comfortable older home. The views are spectacular and the back yard impeccable but neighboring homes don’t take as much pride. The home offers great beds and furniture is newer and the interior is tastefully decorated. The owner has provided everything you can wish for (bath bombs to spices) and overall it’s a great place to stay.

I travel three to four times a year, and the reviews are my go to when deciding where to stay. If I could give this property ten stars, I would. Ms. Janienne is the hostest with the mostest! Her property is clean, spacious, and has a million dollar view. The location is perfect. We were a group of ladies meeting for the weekend. Not once did we feel unsafe. We will definitely be back! I have already sent your listing to others because it is truly amazing.

We visited family in Evans and found this home to be much superior to staying in hotels as we have done in the past. Home is in a great location with excellent river views. Very impessive list of amenities; more than are disclosed. Owner was very easy to communicate with.

Amazing! Our host decorated the house inside and out to include a Christmas tree! She made our family feel like we were home for the holidays. We just added our gifts. Family Reunion on the River!
My adult children, myself, and my parents came to visit my brother and his family who reside in North Augusta. We wanted a space where we could stay comfortably and also be able to host my brother's family. It was perfect and beautiful, and couldn't have been better stocked!

Great Thanksgiving with family
My wife and I traveled to Augusta to have Thanksgiving with our son, who is stationed nearby at Fort Eisenhower, and his wife. Check in was hassle free, which was nice after a long drive. Janienne was a pleasure to deal with and responded instantly to all questions we had while at the property. The house was and surrounding area was great. My wife loved the kitchen, plenty of room to prepare and serve meals. She had brought everything she needed, but the kitchen was stocked with cookware, spices and pretty much anything you would need. We all enjoyed the outside fire table and sitting areas. My son and I shucked some oysters sitting in the waterside gazebo and watched some football on the big screen. The family took a long stroll on the river walk which is right downhill from the house. Shops, restaurants, and bars are also a short distance away. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable Thanksgiving. We will definitely check availability of the river house for our next trip to Augusta.

Riverfront Retreat
This is a spacious, very well provisioned home with all the amenities you could want. Great location with gorgeous river views from the relaxing sunroom and porch. There’s a lovely walking path adjacent to the home perfect for running, walking and biking. We ranged in ages from kindergarten to grandmother and everyone enjoyed their visit. We appreciated the wonderfully equipped kitchen, puzzles, legos, bird feeder and bird book, etc!

Peaceful location
We stayed here with our kids (8, 13, 21) to visit our oldest (25) for a family vacation/get together. It has more then enough space for everyone to feel comfortable. The view is incredible. The kids loved fishing off of the dock and using the binoculars to watch the wildlife. The master bed was plush. The kitchen was well stocked and had access to a pantry of spices etc if needed. Overall, it was a perfect home away from home.

Excellent stay
We had to find a place to stay really quick, and this place was perfect. It was a perfect escape after long hard days. Beautiful view. Great porch. We saw a Monster of an Alligator, Osprey building a nest, Owls, LOTS of turtles, and a Fox!! Janienne was great to work with. We had to change our schedule a couple of times, and she made it easy.
