"My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. "Last night to stay in NZ. Free shuttle bus is very convenient. no lift but staff are very nice to help us carrying luggage to room. But it’s a bit noisy at night because the main road is just beside the hotel. I still recommend to stay here if you don’t have much budget and have early flight. "

"The property and stay was great. My problem was that I booked a stay(prepaid)through Expedia for the wrong day (May 17) asked Expedia if they could just change to the correct day (May 19)they said I would have contact the hotel, the number on the Expedia site was not valid, I emailed them, they sent me back to Expedia. Expedia said that it was up to the hotel. Back and forth! Never got a resolution. Ended up booking for the correct day and just loosing the $200 I already paid "
