"One of my favorite places I’ve stayed. Great for our bigger group and loved all the activities like basketball and even pickleball! Gorgeous location among the trees and not too far from stores and gas. Would definitely recommend."

"Beautiful, large house that was perfect for our trip out to visit family and go skiing at Mount Rose. Kids loved the game room and the tree house. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of soft towels for everyone. My only minor issue is that the oven, and kitchen in general, is a bit small to cook for a large group (we had 6 adults and 4 kids). Also, the grill was not working during our stay, the owner did apologize for the inconvenience and committed to getting it fixed. Would definitely stay here...

"Had a great time at Gary’s place. Terry, the property manager, was very helpful as well. Unfortunately the washing machine broke before our arrival, so we didn’t have access to it during our stay. Terry let us know in advance and both she and Gary were accommodating to our arrival time, even though it was outside the checkin time. The cabin is great! "Space was Great for family time. Transportation takes you to and from Northstar with easy access pick up at house. Bunk beds were not available. Everything else was amazing!! I would stay here again!"

I wasn’t too worried about that since Tahoe is right there. Marla bay is private, so I had to drive to different beaches and couldn’t just walk, but was still super close. And my dog was allowed, so that was key! :)"

"Stayed here for a group ski trip. We had 9 adults, and there were plenty of beds & space for everyone. Excellent location, the Northstar shuttle made it really easy to get to the mountain and back. You can call it from an app in the morning, and then just hop on and give your destination in the afternoon. Private hot tub was a great amenity in the backyard. "Beautiful Lakefront Escape for a Large Family Gathering. My family of 9 adults and 1 toddler stayed at House of the Stars over the holidays to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday.
