Great little condo in the South End
Our family enjoyed our stay at the Bruno Bungalow! Nicole, the owner, was incredibly responsive and had everything we needed readily available including beach tags and pool passes. The condo itself was a nice size for our family of 5 and could easily sleep an additional couple. Having the pool access was a nice perk especially when our littlest was napping, we were able to take the older kids to the pool. The coffee station was also a nice touch. The only watchouts I have are that the distance to the beach, while walkable, is tough with all of the things you need to bring with you (especially if you have small children) so we opted to drive down vs. walk. And we would have loved a balcony/deck or some private outdoor space; the condo has a little patio but we didn't make much use of it. Overall this is a great space and a great value for a week in Ocean City especially if you want a pool!

Wonderful Stay
This was our second time staying at this property. We love the location. Communication with the owner is always prompt. The house has everything you could need for a great stay. We can't wait to stay here again!

Clean but misrepresented
The condo was very clean and the size was as described per listing but accommodations were somewhat uncomfortable. The furniture and housewares were dated, uncomfortable, somethings broken and somewhat cheap. The outside “porch” area was not usable as it faced a dark, swampy grass area which was inundated with bugs as well as the porch “furniture” was not usable and covered with a dirty scrap piece of carpet. The check in process was over complicated as we had to replace batteries in the front door lock for the property manager and communicate with her multiple times about resetting the code. Not ideal.

The apartment is really nice, clean, and comfortable. Nicole is terrific! She sent emails welcoming us, was very thorough, and communicated everything we could ask for. Ocean Beach is great too. Not crowded, white sand and mellow. My family loved going to the beach in the morning and the pool in the afternoon. Our only regret was that we could only booked 2 nights.

Excellent vacation
Perfect location for a wonderful vacation. Nicole was so helpful! The house had everything you would ever need and was clean and neat. The pool was incredible after spending time at the beach! Definitely will be staying here again soon!

Not only was it a short walk to the beach (& places to eat, have ice cream, plus a grocery store), there’s a beautiful pool! The owner is THE BEST we’ve ever worked with and we will definitely book with her again! The only thing disappointing is that we didn’t find it years sooner!!

Great location!
We really enjoyed the South end of ocean city. Not as busy as near the boardwalk but still have the option to drive to it. 55th street is great with a market, ice cream store , hoagie place etc. we ate dinner in Strathmere which is right over the bridge. Great restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable.

Great family getaway
Great location, responsive host, walk to the beach. Such a gem of a place for a family getaway. Slightly outdated decor but has all of the modern amenities! Lots of personal, thoughtful touches- fully stocked kitchen cooking materials, highchair, games, first aid kit and more. Small Town, neighborhood vibes with local seafood, ice cream, and market just a walk away!

Read Further and Then You Decide
This is our fourth year vacationing in Ocean City and our first year with this rental. We stayed here for a week in July. First some positives: -The place was clean, but dated. -The condo pool is very convenient -The a/c worked great. Some concerns: -When the smoke detector went off due to a weak battery, there was no replacement battery in the house. Needed to buy one and owner said we would be reimbursed. -When a lamp bulb blew out, there was no replacement with a similar bright bulb, making the poorly lit room, darker. -The toaster handle did not stay down, so one had to continuously press on the handle to get "toast". -MOST IMPORTANT: After we left, leaving the house in fine condition, we were accused of staining a bed sheet, even though no eating ever went on, in that bedroom. -We were to be charged for a missing wheel to the bottom of a bed. Why would we steal a wheel? - We were also accused of damaging the paper towel holder, which we never used. So, the owner will have a different version and accuse us of who knows what. So decide what is important to you. You can certainly do better in Ocean City. PS: We were never reimbursed for the smoke detector battery!

It was a good distance away from the beach so it was a little rough walking with kids and crossing West Avenue with cars speeding by also there was nothing to sit in on the patio so some things were a little disappointing when you have little kids other then some small things it was a great week

We had a great time! The property was perfect for us! The only down side, no hose available to rinse off sand and some kitchen items weren't working properly (can opener broken, toaster and coffee maker had issues though still usable). We did have an incident with a blanket and the owner was very gracious and we replaced it no problem. We were a lot closer to the beach than I thought we would be and lots of bunnies around the property. The pool was great too. Ice cream and food right down the block! I would love to stay here again.

Awesome vacation
Nicole the owner was great!!!!!! we had an issue with lost pool tags but in the end they were found and returned. Just be aware they are 50 bucks a piece if lost and not found. Location of the unit is in walking distance of the beach. If ever we were returning to Ocean city we would stay there again

Family Weekend Getaway
This location was in a nice quiet neighborhood away from the noisy boardwalk, only a few short blocks to the beach and with community pool access. There were also a few local eateries on the way to the beach that were convenient. The welcome package was cute touch and the handbook was helpful. The check out time (10:00am) was a bit too early for us with having to run after kids, clean up as instructed, and feeling a bit rushed by the cleaner who came in as we were leaving. Overall a great location and nice owners. Perfect for a weekend getaway.
