"Overall the area is obviously stunning and beautiful, so that’s the main reason to stay there. It’s calm, quiet and a great place to unwind. The lodges themselves are a little rustic and basic, but they are fine. The service was super friendly and helpful. Was truly disappointed in the restaurant. The prices were expensive and for $45 I would have expected the seafood pasta to have fresh local seafood (after all…it’s located on the ocean) but the frozen seafood which barely had any meat to it...

"A very nice, clean, older property. Very comfortable rooms, nice amenities. Property overlooks a shopping center parking lot with a local bar blaring VERY loud music for hours before a hockey game. Not the hotels fault but was really annoying. Some shabbiness in the rooms, sheers in the bedroom were ripped, need to be replaced. Overll a decent place to stay."

"What a gem! Calm water, crabs everywhere, porpoises out the window. It is a classic Canadian cabin, just like in lake country, except without the mosquitoes but with salmon right outside. We managed to get there in a small open boat (our big one was out of commission) by doing a deal with nearby April Pt Marina."

"The hotel was great, breakfast was good variety. They have a pool and actually have a hot tub that works well ...good jets. All staff were friendly and accommodating and really the only negative is that we were close to the elevator and it's sooooo dang loud. There was a wedding going on until 1 or 2 in the morning, which wasn't a problem, but lots of use of the elevators kept me awake."

On the negative side: the property is exposed to the ferry dock and the marina office with minimal sound proofing, both are very loud in the day and night time. The whole place was dirty. The place is sparsely furnished with some broken furniture, the sheets were uncomfortable and pilled sheets, there were no duvets...
