“Driftwood Cottage provided the perfect Caribbean escape. Set behind a lovely pool in Sarah's magical garden, the rustic cottage is truly a departure from the usual day-to-day. Sleeping under netting in the beautiful antique bed and listening to the birds and frogs gave us a true taste of island life. Sarah shared stories from her many years on Antigua and provided many recommendations for our stay. We loved setting out each day to explore the island then returning to our little piece of paradise……

“One think is good to pay attention to prior arrival. Is access road is difficult you need 4x4 or brave driver. Air con just in one main bedroom which wasn't issue for me but if i wanted to use both bedrooms would be problematic. I was happy there by myself nice remote location.”

“We stayed for 15 days. Our 2 bedroom 2 bath unit had a great distant view of the water from a balcony where we enjoyed cofffee in the morning and cocktail at night. Our only problem was trying to find it in the dark on our arrival as there didn't seem to be any actual address to give to Siri, but our property manager met with us and guided us in.”

“The property is very nicely maintained and the hosts made us feel welcome. The kitchen is well stocked with everything for cooking. Although they share the property, we felt private and safe. Dickenson Beach is beautiful and a short 5 minutes drive. Groceries, fuel, and restaurants are close also. It was a really great vacation! Thanks so much”

“We had an excellent time at the villa and would return again. Good communication from Eve beforehand and we were met by someone at the property on arrival. It was clean and tidy. All requests were dealt with promptly. The view from this property high on the hill in Falmouth across English Harbour is amazing from the veranda, the upstairs balcony & the infiniti pool. Full aircon inside plus fans inside and out. Weather a steady 29-30c which is normally year round so needed. Access to the pool……

“A gem in Antigua. Well kept property, no mosquitoes, near beaches and restaurants. Additionally, nice bathrooms, kitchen, backyard and front area. I was surprised at how nice it was.”

“After a rocky start to our vacation (flying standby, overbooked car rental, issues with GPS), our stay at Twinkle was a true respite! Nathan helped us before we even got to the property with giving us helpful directions to the villas and an abundance of information on local destinations and shops. An abundance of amenities were included with our stay, such as a local cell phone, beach accoutrement, and even a stocked fridge. Galleon beach is close to local hiking trails to Shirley Heights and……

“Although initially not impressed as the location was rather smaller than viewed on the web we then realised that although the property was dated it was clean and comfortable. The ambience however was great and it is really unique in the sense that nothing else can be founds like it on the Island. The dogs and cats were such a feature and Sonja , the owner was so helpful and friendly. So dont expect luxury , just enjoy the garden with its palm trees and flowers and the visits from teh dogs and……

“When we arrived at the property we got settled in and went to get ready for the night. After getting in the shower we ran out of hot water in less than 2 minutes. I called the property manager who told me to crawl under the house next door and see if the hot water heater had power running to it. The next morning, I woke up to make some eggs. Little did I know that the gas to the house had been disconnected. I called the property manager who told me that he would try and get there in the next……

“Our hosts were wonderful, the property was beautifully situated with an elevated view of Galleon Beach and English Harbor in a garden-like setting with bullfinches and banaquats friendly and interested. Just off of the property is a premier snorkeling beach, with nightlife on the beachfront. Within a couple of very short miles up the road is Shirley's Lookout, which has a great party with bar-b-que on Sundays and another great view of English Harbor, and just beyond an old 'block house' remants……

“The resort was beautiful, clean , and in the center of everything. I enjoyed Casa Roots restaurant however it’s not in walking distance so a cab is recommended. Also they’re only 3 options of restaurants on the property to eat and their hours vary . I enjoyed the Antigua breakfast at Salt Plage the best . Sandals resort is next door however in order to eat at their restaurants you have to purchase a day pass and I don’t know how much that is. Don’t get suckered I’m to paying for beach chairs .……
