Great Fit for Our Needs
We were traveling to the Battle of the Bats on Burt Lake for a baseball tournament and ScoutPost was a great fit for our group. Perfect setting for a bonfire in the evening after a busy day.

Excellent Stay
With a large common area and cozy living room, this house feels way larger then it is. With 3 families and 11 total guest we felt there was more than enough space for everyone! The combination between rustic and modern is perfect. Location is a quick drive to Nubs Nob and other local attractions. Communication with Lisa the host was great, would absolutely book again.

The coziest cabin!
A group of 14 of us stayed here and skiied at the Highlands nearby. We were immediately impressed by all of the thoughtful touches in each room -- from the comfortable furniture, adjustable lighting, high quality kitchenware and bathroom items, and more. Every nook and cranny seemed to have some purpose or had lovely decorations that gave the whole space an air of hygge and coziness. We especially loved the local whole bean coffee that was available, the large dining table, and the wood burning stove-warmed living room. The location is hard to beat as well, just a few minutes from the Highlands and Nubs Nob, Harbor Springs, and the small but mighty town of Alanson. While the listing states it sleeps 14, this was a bit difficult with a group of adults. In order for everyone to have a bed to sleep on, someone would have to share a twin bed or small futon. Otherwise our expectations were far exceeded and we'd love to come back soon.

Perfect up north retreat
Scoutpost is a thoughtfully decorated cabin that has everything you would need for a cozy winter retreat up north. The whole property was beautiful -we enjoyed morning walks through the woods, outdoor bonfires, and night time games by the fireplace. It was the perfect place to spend a snowy, long weekend with friends.
