"Second time staying at this house and skiing Wolf Creek. Great location to the small town of South Fork. Easy checkin and out. No real issues with the property and easily fit 12 adults / older teens and 1 baby. Great hot tub after the slopes and fire pit down by the river. Great views from house as well. Use Rocky Mountain Ski for your gear they’re great. Will be back again and hopefully not take 6 years like the last time."

"Visiting Alamosa CO in the summer is just about perfect. Staying in this sunny, cheerful well appointed home topped off a delightful visit. The location is great. A short walk to downtown shops, super close to a James Beard nominated restaurant called Friar’s Fork. The walkability can’t be beat. The neighborhood was quiet. "This property was a perfect home base for our family's trip to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Communication prior to arrival could have been better. I messaged the property owner via the VRBO app the day before check-in and then texted the morning of our arrival because I hadn't received any check-in instructions. Onsite property manager Reed was friendly and welcoming and quick to share helpful tips about the area."

"We had three families with a total of 12 people stay here and there was lots of extra room. We played games and cooked dinner each evening in the dinner/living room. Pool and foosball tables were fun additions that are downstairs. On top of this, we got lucky with a lot of snow to play in. South Fork is a relatively easy drive up to Wolf Creek each day."

"Loved the outside yard. Since there is such little grass, we REALLY appreciated the nice grass yard. Outdoor area was very neat and tidy and perfect for us and the dogs. Very roomy in the house. Made us feel comfortable and not cramped at all. Lots of hand soap at the sinks but only had one very tiny soap to share for both showers for 5 days. Kind of strange. I would say that had to be the housekeeping staff that did not make sure everything was stocked appropriately. Very friendly and quiet...

"My daughter and I had a wonderful couple of days exploring South Fork and Creede. Out house was perfect for the two of us, and surely suited our needs. It was nice being in an attractive neighborhood. Thank you."

"Overall the property was nice. The car port was nice in case of snow. We did have issues when we arrived, there were 0 towels. The management addressed this by quickly bringing towels but could have used more. There wasnt enough for separate hottub and shower towels for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked, but on the small side. Was crowded when 2 people were in there to cook. Beds were comfortable."

"The house is right on the river, as advertised. It is very close to the roads and trails that lead into the wonderful San Juan mountains. It is about 45 minutes to Pagosa Springs and 10 minutes to South Fork. The house is very nicely furnished and very clean."

"Stayed here for our family ski vacation. This was like staying at a friend's house. We had everything we needed for our stay. This layout is perfect and definitely one of our favorites when we stay in South Fork. Our host was proactive in communicating with us before and after our stay. There are also a lot of deer in the neighborhood, which our boys enjoyed. We will be booking this cabin again."

"Not to miss sunsets and sunrises in the valley that you only find when camping here! And being a dark sky park allows the stars to dazzle you at night. Great accommodations and location. The staff is super nice. Only downside is how close the tents are. We came on a holiday weekend and the place was full. Lots and lots of kids running screaming, which made it not so restful for us quiet types. But all of the views made up for the bad people experience."

"Got in around 6pm and had a warm welcome from Kevin, the owner. Very pleasant setting and very quiet. We stayed in a family cabin with bunk bed for kids. Their room got very toasty overnight with the heat set around 70F because we had their door closed. The whole place was so clean and well-stocked with kitchen dishes and utensils, even some coffee in case you forget to bring your own. Their was virtually no sound besides the trees, the occasional deer walking past, and the distant river all...

"The place was roomy and accommodating. We had 4 guys, so it was nice not to have to share beds and to be able to spread out the snorers. Pros: -Spacious open feel -Hot tub -Everything as advertised -About as close to Wolf Creek as you can get Cons: (these are minor picky things) -Cookware was pretty basic -Had to do some snow shoveling to access the back porch -for some reason I imagined a remote cabin with a pond- it was actually a complex of many cabins on the property- but still quiet...
