“This is a wonderful cottage in an ideal location. The cottage is located behind Patty's house on a quiet street that's three blocks from the inviting College Avenue array of varied restaurants (Italian, American, Mediterranean, ice cream, Peet's). A 20-minute walk to the UC campus. The cottage itself has a large, comfortable bed in main bedroom. a second bedroom with a pull-out couch that we used as an office during a six-day stay, an up-to-date and well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, spacious……

The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!”

“The unit is nicely decorated and very clean and new. A little difficult for a long stay because of limited kitchen and VERY small refrigerator. A desk would be very helpful to avoid having to use the small dining table - have to move computer constantly when time to eat. Communication could've been a bit better from owner (felt like I was bothering him if I asked a question). A welcome manual would be nice with instructions. Lighting could be improved from street to unit door - uneven tile……
