"The area was beautiful and the villa was a good size for my family. We found the villa a little tired and it would benefit from a little updating. The pool area could be even better if it were refurbished. Overall we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to return as we loved the area."

"The villa was perfect for our family's stay in Provence! It was well-equipped with everything we needed (towels, kitchen ware, washer/dryer). We did a lot of day trips in the region (Avignon, St Remy, Cassis, Aix, Nice, Eze, Bandol, La Ciotat, etc) and it was lovely to come back to the pool to cool off and make dinner in the house. "The house is in a lovely location and we really enjoyed our time her and had a lovely holiday. However,the house is tired and items in it are old. This is not a problem while you stay there and it adds to a homely feel. Unfortunately some deckchairs broke. I informed the owner. He has now taken 800 euro from me claiming the washing machine broke (we used it on the morning we left and it was fine- it was an old machine!) and the pool cover broke. No pictures or evidence of this has been supplied....

The house manager was very helpful and patiently answered all our questions and gave us great suggestions on where to go and what to see. Thank you ."

Nico met us at check in and showed us every detail upon arrival, all the way down to showing us location of kitchenwares and switch operations. "Lovely, very reasonably priced rural farmhouse property in a stunning setting, with shops nearby in Venelles and also close to Aix. Property very clean with great swimming pool. However, fixtures and bedding, towels etc. are old and shabby and could do with updating. New, clean kitchen cloths, oven gloves etc. rather than the well used/grimy ones left for us would have also helped with the overall impression of the property. La maison est belle, claire et donc très lumineuse, elle est particulièrement agréable, décorée et aménagée avec goût dans un style contemporain minimaliste. "We had a wonderful week relaxing at this villa. The host Philippe is extremely pleasant and helpful and the villa is very well equipped. There are lots of outdoor spaces to eat drink and relax. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful pool which was at just the right temperature. The villa was in a very quiet peaceful location. We would definitely return!"
