"Hans is a very nice host - he was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He personally greeted us and introduced us to the neighborhood and to the house. The house is located in Haarlem, but it is easy to get to Amsterdam. There is a shopping mall nearby with 3 supermarkets and some big stores."

"Nice size although the layout could have been better. The kitchen was a bit crowded with three doors opening into it. We found the dish soap and towel finally on the table but would have been better placed by the sink. Parking was interesting as we did not know which spot was ours. The reception was very good and helpful. All in all a very nice place and perfect for what we needed."

"Pand ligt aan een hele drukke weg. Tot na 12 uur is de buurt heel rumoerig van auto, wandelend publiek, schreeuwende schoolkinderen en/of luidruchtige tieners. Er is geen vluchtroute. Bij een calamiteit zit je aks een rat in de val. Met kleine kinderen zeker geen aanrader omdat ze rondom het huis niet buiten kunnen. Badkamer stond naar rioolgas. Wrs defecte afvoer. Er stonden leuke geurstokhes maar die stonden al heel lang droog. Het geurtje in de spuitbuis was tht 02-2023 dus ook allang leeg....

"I stayed at this property for 3 days and enjoyed it and Amsterdam thoroughly. The host was very helpful and open. I had no issues with anything at the property. The area is very nice and quite at night. Only possible downside could be for people with mobility issues as the staircases are very narrow and steep. "Communication by the key holder by phone was impossible, they never answered phone . House was not as clean as I had expected . Bed linens didn’t fit the beds , only one duvet cover for a two duvet bed. Bathroom was a fall hazzard, floors stay extremely wet. It needs a shower curtain and no slip rugs for safety . No towels in the kitchen to do the dishes. Yard was not tidy. House shown in the pictures was not the house we received, needed painting. Could not get the tv to work. Would not...

"The rental is attached to the main house and is truly wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of room for everyone. We came with 10 people and were comfortable. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for us and the bed was nice and hard(I don’t like a super soft bed). There were all kinds of seasonings and drinks in the fridge for the folks who like to cook. It’s close to the Zaanse Schans and very close to just about everything. We were all very pleased."
