"My daughter and I spent Mother's Day weekend plus a couple more days at this cottage, both last year and this year. It's clean, bright and cheery with a great view of the lake. My daughter went kayaking while I watched from the deck. We went into town on the Saturday night for a nice dinner, but other than that, we spent most of the time in the cottage. Oh, we got tattoos!! It was great to have a kitchen and large living space to share. The host was helpful and flexible with our party. Close enough to walk to downtown Tecumseh and enjoy the shops and restaurants. The house and property are beautiful and well maintained. We were there in the spring, so the fireplace was especially cozy on the cool mornings and evenings. "Lou's above the garage apartment is frankly perfect. It is build with a lot of thought and has everything you might need. For those unable to climb stairs, beware, there are about 12 steps up. Otherwise, Comfortable beds, beautiful space. Kitchen and bathroom has all the amenities you might require. Peaceful location, short distance to Ann Arbor."
