Very old place. The AC didn’t work well. The grounds of the hotel look like they were once nice but are run down and the gardens are a mess. I wont be back

Nicely located near a lot of local restaurants and the beach. Lots of hidden fees and does not have the amenities mentioned on Expedia. No Internet in the rooms. You have to go to the lobby for that. And that’s far. AC semi work. Gym does not exist. And pools are out of order. For maintenance. Not happy at all. Won’t recommend.

Unique and Refreshing
I love to travel and often times my plans are last minute; if at all in existence. My most recent "travel on a whim" experience was a road trip from Mexico City to Acapulco. I decided to spend (4) nights in Acapulco for some much needed R&R after (quite honestly) partying in Mexico City. I searched for accommodations by amenities and (1) property had what I was looking for. Villa Vera Acapulco. I am an avid tennis fan and player and this property has (2) clay courts available for rental with or without a tennis pro. There is also several pools and the property is located within walking distance of Condesa Beach. I don't want to talk about my rental car experience before arriving to Acapulco, but what I do want to mention is that when I finally made it to Acapulco, the staff at Villa Vera were amazingly calm and accommodating with me (I was tired and frustrated. I'm human). Throughout my (4) night stay, every member of the Villa Vera staff continued this 5star level of customer service. One of my taxi drivers in Acapulco said that the beach city has not seen a lot of non-Mexican tourists in over (20) years. Many travelers are opting for Cancun, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas instead. I am, however, very happy with Acapulco and Villa Vera! Highly recommended. The manager Amaury is amazing and he speaks English if your Spanish is not up to par.

Pretty good for the money paid.
overall the stay was good. only had a couple of issues. the shower head was not working for 2 days had to shower against the wall but they later changed it and it was good. I had no wifi for my whole stay. i was told that it didnt reach as far as my room. I was in one of the villas. I would still return to this hotel.

The hotel is one of the best l have stayed at. The room were the biggest and the best layed out I have ever stayed in and the food was great and Everyone in the hotel was also very helpful and always there when you needed them with a smile. Location was excellent to,and everything in all was a beautiful experience Thank you Villa Vera ,l will be back ;)

Good Deal
Even though this hotel isn't close to te beach I consider it a good deal because it's not expensive and the rooms are nice. Although the hotel looks old it is very clean and well maintained. I didn't like that the check out time is at 10 am (although you can leave at 12pm).

Staff were polite enough, but the rooms were a tad grubby. The food wasn't very good. The food had a general old school feel to it, like they weren't too fussed about upkeep. Considering we got the room at half price it was not impressive. To pay any more than we did, we'd be getting ripped off...

Okay hotel if on a budget.
The room was very large and bed very comfortable. However, the property itself is showing it's very old age. The pool is the old concrete style with blue tiling. The lower pool wasn't even filled properly, about 3 feet lower than the filtering vents. Paint is peeling everywhere you look around the complex. It's a short 5 minute walk down to the main avenue but taxi's will still try to rip you off just for going uphill for a 1 minute drive. Hotel manager tried ripping me off when I asked for a second room for one night to allow a friend of mine to stay one night that the hotel in her own room. Tried charging me 6 times what I paid when the place was completely vacant being off season and quite frankly no one seemingly wanting to stay there.

Nice hotel, nice people, BUT!
The BAD 1. broken ice bucket and I had to walk to the restaurant up a hill to get ice 2. NO HOT WATER and I complained on the first night and was not fixed second night so I switched hotels 3. fridge wasn't that cold or maybe I put to many warm groceries 4. NO phone in room so I had to use my cell phone to call front desk and luckily I had mexican sim card. 5. staff thought all these issues was no big deal and seamed confused when I complained and had a "well this is how it is here at villa vera by B" kinda attitude and the staff acted like it seemed crazy to just go buy a phone for my room like the hotel could not afford it at this time The GOOD nice price, nice looks, nice pool, ok staff

Aunque lleguemos a las 15:30 (check in desde 15:00) no había nadie a la recepción, el proceso total de nuestro checkin duro casi 2 horas! Las instalaciones no justifican el alto precio. Even though we arrived at 15:30 (check in starts at 15:00) there was nobody at the reception, the total process of hour check in took about 2 hours! The installations do not justify the high price.
