"This is an excellent hotel! The rooms were beautiful and meticulously clean. The check in process was so cordial and relaxing. The location is great. The best part of Hotel Monge is the staff, so helpful and friendly. When my wife left her scarf at a nearby restaurant, the front desk called the restaurant and sent us an email after they confirmed it was there so we could pick it up. I would not hesitate to stay here again, it made our trip to Paris even better!"

"This was our first time in Europe not understanding how small the rooms can be. This room was exceptionally small with a slanted roof which I bumped my head on a few times. The bed comfort was on, pillows soft - medium. The bathroom was a 1 person bathroom. The shower had a partial door and the water would come out all over the floor when we took a showers. It’s ok for a very short stay, but nothing longer than 1 or 2 days. "

Room quite basic (it could do with a lick of paint), but all the basics were there, and bathroom was very well equipped. Location surprisingly quiet, and very handy for metro. Only criticism - The basic standard price of a double room is listed as 270 euros, with breakfast extra! This strikes me as very expensive, so thank God for the deals offered by Hotels.com!"
