“The property is clean and scenic. Did not receive bteakfast (as advertised). Hot tubs were not open. ”

“I arrived later night, the front desk person was called by knocking the door to process my room. Unfortunately they said there is no king size bed which I paid for. I had to sleep since next early morning had meeting,so no time to complain for 2 queen beds. Next day I asked again for king size, they changed my room to king size room. The room is good, only One noise of window. Other then that 2 issues, everything was perfect.”

“Located in the middle of downtown San Jose. About 5 blocks from the Central Market. Staff was great, they serve a nice breakfast in the morning, laundry available on site. Basic accommodations but served us well before and after our scheduled tour of Costa Rica. Easy to get around by foot or Uber(taxis also available) from the hotel. Don’t recommend walking at night after 7pm. ”

“Peace lodge was very beautiful . It has so much to offer with feeding the animals they rescued to enjoying the beautiful waterfalls right on the property. The only downfall of mine was they don't have air or a ceiling fan but overall it was a great joy staying here . ”

“This lodge and spa is located in a valley between two mountain ranges at about 5000 feet (compared to Monte Verde 4300 feet) and is considered to be within the range of cloud forest. When we arrived, we were checked in and the host was very nice but failed to give us clear information of how to navigate the privately owned cloud forest with very hilly resort location and four water falls all within the property. Even though we mentioned that my wife is just recovering from knee surgery he……

“Great property. Great location with a view. Close enough to airport and Antonio is fantastic. Ask for him and you’re all set!”

“Beautiful and unique property. We only stayed one night and loved the coffee tour. The restaurant was on site and had delicious options. Only slight downside is no A/C (which we knew about) and lots of insects/bugs that were in the room (2 spiders, 3 other larger) when we arrived. ”

“The family suite was exceptional. Service was top tier from all angles. Breakfast is typical costa rican food which I liked. Security on site all evenings which was a nice touch. Neighborhood is walkable. We spent a good amount of time walking back and forth to restaurants and it was completely safe. ”
