"That there was no elevator. Mostly all staff members were super friendly and helpful. Its a beautiful place with upscale decor. Not as much suited for business stay."

"Only one night in transit. They arranged for late check in. Nice pool and access to everything on the Gap. Rooms a bit dated but clean and comfortable. Checkout at noon is included and was great. Small restaurant but adequate for the breakfast we had."

"It was great, comfortable and very safe as a solo female traveler. It’s situated in a great location right in the middle of the gap here all the bars and restaurants are located. You will hear the music thru out the night on the weekends but if you came to enjoy yourself then it shouldn’t be a problem! I would stay they again!"

"Great location, spacious room, enjoyed the pool area, and right across from a great beach! Didn’t eat at the restaurant as there were so many other places to also check out nearby. Room had 2 single beds, and the mattress was a bit bigger than the box spring/bases so I did often feel like I was going to fall off the bed when near the edges. No hot water, but I suppose I didn’t really need it with how amazing the weather was. Would be an issue in cooler months but perhaps there is proper hot...

"Del Mar is a cozy place to stay. The studio I was in was very clean and looked newly renovated. It had a small patio overlooking the pool. The ambience was nice. The rooms are very close to the front desk area and main road which can be bothersome but overall its a nice and clean place to stay especially if traveling alone. I would stay there again."

"Loved: staff, view, location Would improve: The music from the Dive bar was too loud after 12pm. We are not light sleepers and some nights it was blasting until 3am .Impossible to get a good sleep and that would be my main reason for not returning. Many people at the pool were talking about it so it was not just our room. "

There is a unique bird named Parker that hangs around and makes friends with all the guests. He might have been my favorite part of my stay. We had a lovely stay for 3 nights."

"We were lucky enough to get an early check-in by 1 hour. The staff is so friendly and helpful and do a lot to make you feel welcomed. Although we missed it, the Manager Cocktail Party is back! The location of the property is excellent; within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars and is on a beach. "
