“Very clean, didn't find any hair in a room or bath room, trash cans outside the building were clean. Well maintain property, didn't smell like smoke or weed. Bed are comfortable ”

“This is an older building that has been freshly painted. Our room was very clean; the bed comfortable and the towels were soft. No bells or whistles ie: in-room coffee maker or refrigerator, but it was adequate for our needs, being close to a wedding venue accross the bridge.”

“I loved this hotel!!! It was in an amazing spot with so many options to eat, shop, and do activities. The staff was super nice and efficient. The room was clean, updated, and had all the amenities you need. The only thing I could think that would be a bother is if you’re 6’ in height or over, the shower head is a bit low. I’m 5’8 and it touched the top of my head haha. Anyway, great stay! Will definitely stay again if I’m ever in the area!”

“This was a lovely property-very walkable to museums and historic Charleston. Nothing else that we wanted to see was more than a 30 minute drive. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was lovely and well maintained. It was very quiet. We slept well while there.”

“My family and I traveled to SC and had an issue with the first place we had planned to stay. It was a holiday weekend and we were a little worried that we would not find a place. I checked online and Tru by Hilton came up, having just one room left that meet our needs. We were able to book immediately and loved this place! “The location of this hotel can't be beat. The pool and the dock on the river are amazing! The rooms are OK, a little dated but served the purpose. The only complaint we would have is that they ran out of breakfast very early every day. Other guests pitched a fit; we just went exploring and found some amazing local breakfast places nearby that made it worth not having breakfast at the hotel. They should stop offering breakfast and encourage guests to visit some of the local haunts because they……

“The size of the room was great. No dresser drawers was different. Didn’t realize that it was pet friendly. Sylvia was very nice. Breakfast was good.”

“We stay at Seaside Inn every time we visit IOP. It’s not super fancy and the elevator never seems to be working when we visit but the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance and there is easy access to the beach. The free breakfast is good for a quick grab and go of different snack options. I think Seaside is a good, affordable option if you are like us and just need a nice clean room to stay when having fun at the beach.”

“We chose it cuz decided to go to SC at the last minute and there weren't so much choices for us. Generally, staffs there were okay but it wasn't worth the price for a motel at such condition. Pro: Good location, you could get there easily when going down from the highway. Con: The walls were pretty thin so we could hear people next door talking clearly when it's loud enough.”
