It was getting hot so it wasn’t ideal that they didn’t have AC (we did see them install new ACs in some rooms when we were checking out so check with them). "For a low cost hotel in the historic center of a major city Hotel Patria was just fine. Excellent location for exploring the older structures, the Zocalo, Metropolitan Cathedral, Templo Mayor, and Palacio de Bellas Artes. We stayed a week and the weekend was pretty noisy in a fiesta way. Also there were demonstrations which made us glad we were able to walk places. Terrific value for the price."
