“This Guesthouse is a little Gem tucked away in the heart of the city but without the noise. Property was extremely clean, with all the necessities needed for a great stay. Room was perfect and breakfast was really good. The grounds were well kept and clean. Prices are very affordable. Check in was seamless with Fernando. Nothing requested was too much - All staffs were very accommodating. Breakfast included - prepared fresh and cooked to order upon arrival at the restaurant. The Owner Mr.……

“A very clean room for both of us. Breakfast was good. All the staff were very friendly, although we came almost midnight from the airport, the young lady at the front desk was very kind. We left in a hurry to catch the bus to Puerto Jimenez, my sister in law left her phone in the room. The owner drove to our taxi and caught us in time. Thank you very much for a wonderful service. We will be back there again in a week.”

“Room was very clean, bright and airy. Good shower and hot water. Good air conditioner, but wish they also had a fan. Friendly staff. Daytime noise from the street, but was quiet after around 9 pm.”

“The staff were very helpful and the rooms were large and comfortable. We arrived late at night and found the area the hostel to be quite sketchy. I would not recommend walking the streets at night. The hostel itself felt very safe though. Great place to stay if you are looking for something cheap near the airport. ”

“We stayed coming into San Jose Airport 1 day and 1 day going out ..It is a nice property for a day or 2 ,not alot to see except for park and catherdral nearby..Our shuttle picked us up early in La Fortuna,so we arrived there early...We contacted by WhatsApps and he let us in to store luggage..We needed to use the bathroom bad and he told we had to find someplace else to use ..Rooms were not available ..We were are older and cant hold it like we use too lol..If it had been me i would have offered……

“This is a perfect property for travelers needing access to the San Jose Airport and many car rental companies. The property is gated, with street parking in front of the facility. The open kitchen allows guest access to use of fridge, microwave, coffee and water and eating area. Rooms are spacious, beds comfortable with spacious bathrooms. No AC but ceiling fan in room. Note that this is a CASH only facility which caught me by surprise. The host was also gracious to allow us to drop luggage……

“Overall this was a nice place to stay to be close to the airport. There were a few things that could’ve been improved such as some tiny ants in the restroom & the pillows were rather hard. It was a pretty property though and the breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly & helpful. ”
